Project Updates

WELL RUNCORN: A NEW CHAPTER FOR HEALTH, LEARNING, AND COMMUNITY.

All of the votes have been counted and verified and we can announce that the new name for the upcoming health and education hub in Runcorn town centre is…. WELL Runcorn. This stands for Wellbeing, Education, Lifelong-Learning all of which will be on offer and available for Runcorn residents to access once works on site are complete with the project opening in early 2026.

FOUNDATIONS ARE IN AT THE UBOSOT HALL:  Now that the foundations have been laid the steelwork will commence on site at the Temple.

THE BRINDLEY ENHANCEMENT PREPARES FOR GLAZING TO GO IN:  In the coming weeks the site will start to prepare for the front glazing opening onto the high street to be put in place. Runcorn Town Neighbourhood Board Spotlight on Police and Crime Commissioner Dan Price

This month the Programmes Office at Halton Borough Council caught up with board member Dan Price, Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner. Dan is on the Runcorn Town Neighbourhood Board for  econnecting Runcorn which oversees and supports the delivery of our projects. Sharing his knowledge and expertise gained from previous roles and experience to how this is helping him get involved and support the vision for Reconnecting Runcorn while keeping the public’s safety at the heart of the development that is set to be transformational for the look and feel of Runcorn Old Town.
